Babylon Needs Us
May The Lord Jesus Christ bless you all, your families and friends! Some words on the idea of Christian community:
“But be not called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ;
And all ye are brothers.
And call no man your father upon the earth:
for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Neither be ye called masters:
For one is your Master, even Christ.
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased;
And he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.”
Jesus Christ teaching against the ideas of leadership, Christians are equal parts of a single Body.
Whoever lowers themselves the most, washes the most feet of the most Christians, that is who Christ gives His chosen authority to.
“For many are called, but FEW are chosen.”
Humans are servants by design and ALL humans either serve The Living God or dark spirits.
Most false idols have fallen and been replaced with Babylon, the love of money, self, control over people, imperialism, consumerism, willing things into being with thoughts and emotions by means of money access and manipulations. Demonic, man has made his own mind into a false god.
Babylon is the ultimate accumulation of the knowledge of good and evil, the end point of the devil’s plan when he deceived woman to eat the fruit. It is the historical collection of all of our fallen states in motion.
And it’s in the minds of “Christians” everywhere. It is the Catholic Church, it is the mega churches that ask for money money money, it is the “good ol boy” Christian families that don’t pay attention to their heroin-addicted sons, it is the Christian who prays for money instead of Christians to surround them, for Jesus to surround them.
People make empires and kingdoms, separated we make empires, but together we make The Kingdom.
People make money, money has never made people. Humans willed money into existence by means of their minds and we continue to.
But one day, money will die, Christians will soon be shown that with our numbers we hold value.
And we have refuge.
We don’t need Babylon, Babylon has always needed us.
“But in the last days it shall come to pass… The Lord shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.”
Micah 4:1-4 (Old Testament prophecy)
