Cowboy Capitalism
The Kingdom of God is like a bunch of cowboys living in a bunkhouse, working in a tackroom.
Crafting what they need to ride their horse, the works are about the servitude of life as much as it is about reaping its benefit.
It isn’t at tension with the state and money, but the economic tension becomes one between life and the cowboy.
The important part is that it takes a lot of cowboys to have a Kingdom, and you need a unifying factor that stretches bounds, that’s why Christ came and is King of Kings.
I guess now we just need a lot of bunkhouses and tackrooms.
