Text, Media, and Font Sources
Explore the Scripture texts, translations, media, and fonts used in POLOE.
The Greek reader uses a modern critical text reconstructed from surviving witnesses. The Hebrew and Aramaic reader uses a digital transcription of Codex Leningradensis, the oldest complete manuscript of the Masoretic Text. Earlier witnesses are fragmentary and will be identified passage by passage when they are added.
Word and phrase switching uses alignment groups verified against the pinned source data. A supplied English word can remain in English, several words can move together, and a textual difference can remain visible. The reader never invents a source word to make a switch look complete.

The audiobook is in the author's own voice. It was produced from that voice with ElevenLabs, an AI voice service, under a paid plan that includes commercial use. No other voice and no background sound is mixed into it. The quiet soundscapes you can turn on while you listen are separate recordings, credited here.
Soundscapes: the quiet environment recordings you can turn on while you read come from Freesound.
